The idea of Kaft came up for the first time, we wanted to create a quite good brand that does not exist. That's why, without any rush, we started the preliminary work that lasted 2 years for the creation of the name, logo, brand attitude and creation of the designs.

We got in touch with the best people in the business to bring the designs we prepared to life. They were processed on high quality fabrics with fine stitches, printed well even the ones that are called difficult to print. At that point, everything's done to start.

Kaft was officially founded. We started the first year with our 10 favorite designs. By adding new ones each month, we've reached over 300 designs.

Our journey has begun with our own designs, then Turkey's most talented illustrators and digital artists have begun to join us.

The iconic "KAFT BAG" has come into existence. Also, long sleeves added to collection.

Revolution in t-shirts. Different design styles added to collection. At the same time, all t-shirt cuts and fabrics have changed. 3 different styles were designed.

The Street Series was created in collaboration with Turkey's well-known street artists. For this series, 3 different designs were placed in 3 different regions of Istanbul and they turned into t-shirts.

We played a part on social responsibility projects. A special t-shirt design was prepared for LOSEV in Turkey and all income was donated.

Kaft Journey project came to life. After this point, Kaft became a brand associated with nature and travel.

Different products such as shorts and beanies came into our lives. On the other hand, collaborations with various brands, from award-winning films to famous beverage brands, began to take place.

Dynamic years have begun. After 5 years, we made the 2nd revolution in t-shirts. All fabrics and cuts have been changed. Now there are 2 different styles. At the same time, Kaft socks joined us. Meanwhile, we changed our office and moved to a bigger and more spacious place.

This time, revolution was in winter products. We renewed the designs and forms of all our long sleeves. Social responsibility projects continued. We made a project together with the TEMA Foundation and created a memorial forest.

This year, Kaft tried brand new products. Pakaru, trousers and new shorts joined us. We continued our project with the TEMA Foundation with a new series in 2021. We started launching our new collections with 3D videos.

It was a remarkably active and productive year. We teamed up with FUJIFILM to create a photography-inspired capsule collection. We brought together the stories behind the colors in our palette through the KAFT Colors project. Our illustrations were exhibited as part of two separate exhibitions organized by It's Liquid in Venice and London. We also transitioned our T-shirt and tank top fits to a unisex design, removing gender distinctions across our entire tops collection.

2023 was the year we turned long-term ideas into reality. We collaborated with NVIDIA and created a capsule collection of 3 designs. TEMA x KAFT collaboration began in 2020 and evolved with a new capsule collection, inspired by the movements of nature. With the additions of NOUGROD, ROBROC, ROBROC mini and MECLO, we expanded our bag collection. We introduced CREAPUS worker jacket and ROUPA & UTAMA pants with the motto ‘When it comes to creativity’. Three new beanies, BONOCA, NIONG, HOONIT, and JOQU sock designs joined our collection.

2024 was a year filled with creativity and meaningful collaborations. We collaborated with the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (IKSV) and designed a limited-edition t-shirt for the 43rd Istanbul Film Festival. In collaboration with HOOD Base, artists Cins, Ece Haskan, Candan İşcan, Burak Beceren, and Gizem Erdem interpreted the concept of “Resonance”, and their works came to life on our canvas— t-shirts. For the Fender Series, we focused on the journey of music as a bridge across geographies, cultures, and time, and created a capsule collection of 6 unique designs. We met ZIPOC, HOUD, RUDEN, HUGRAF, ZIPLAY, PLOID and expanded our long-sleeve collection. Elements from our illustration world came together with two new hats, KAPOC and FLYEN designs were created. Our color palette welcomed 5 new characters: Comet, Jellyfish, Moss, Forest Shade, Canyon.

2025 was an inspiring year in which we bridged the distance between thought and production through stories. As we traced different narratives with 23 new T-shirt designs, we made the shapes in our minds visible through the Sketch Series. With our Blender collaboration, we brought a special capsule to life, featuring Cubision, Monke, and Geo Node. Through our collaboration with the Pwnisher community, Exoplanet, Gbot-29, and Aki the Cat became part of our world. On our TEMA x KAFT journey, we reached our 8th Memorial Forest, and the number of saplings we brought together with the soil grew to 80,000. While our women’s collection expanded with the AUREN pants, IGAMI crop, and PLUREN, RUVIEN, and LYUME long-sleeve designs, our men’s collection welcomed the CLOPA pants with their comfortable structure. We refreshed our bond with art through gatherings at the Istanbul International Experimental Film Festival and Litho Days III.
